Born in Peace River, Alberta, Ramona spent her childhood on a farm in northern Alberta and several years in the Northwest Territories. For the last decade she has made the Okanagan Valley in British Columbia her home and resides there with her husband and child.
As a growing artist she has studied through correspondence courses as well as under notable wildlife artists such as Terry Isaac, the late Paco Young, John Banovich, and Daniel Smith through Montana`s Beartooth School of Art and Penticton B.C.`s Wildstreak Art Studio.

As Ramona has been growing and maturing as an artist, she is seeing how art is so much more than just producing decor for walls. It is her opportunity to speak into people's lives and give something to feed their souls. Her work is infused with light and life, and is peaceful, gentle and joyful. Art is a gift she's been entrusted with and she holds it with respect and a desire to fully reach the potential God intended.
