Standing guard, watching over the valley. They look like noble strong protectors, keeping us safe. They are symbols of strength and character. Their bark is rugged, their stature tall, their colours striking. The palette nature provides is magnificent with the burnt sienna trunks and branches against a cobalt sky, the ever changing surface of the lakes from blue, to teal to emerald green. Eagles soaring overhead, nests making their homes in the highest branches. Do we go through life with our eyes open to see? Are these things a reflection of the Creator's character...The Sentinel?
