These trees were painted after I first visited a place in Saskatchewan that is considered a natural wonder. There is a patch of trees, maybe an acre of them that grow all twisted and tangled as these two are. There are some that crawl along the ground, and although many studies have been done to understand why they are all mutated, nothing has been figured out. I liked these two a lot because without touching they seem to be copying each others moves as in a dance.
